Empower Learning Camps provide a unique and enriching experience for children and teenagers, fostering a love for learning through engaging activities, creative projects, and outdoor adventures. Our mission is to empower young minds by creating a supportive and dynamic environment where they can explore their interests, develop new skills, and build lasting friendships.

Position Title: Volunteer

Location: 3476 Glen Erin Drive, Mississauga, ON

Duration: March Break - 16th March 2026 - 20th March 2026 And Summer Break - June 29th - August 29th.

Commitment: 40 Hrs per week / Monday to Friday ]

About Us:

Position Overview:

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated volunteers to join our team for the upcoming camp season. As a volunteer, you will play a crucial role in delivering a memorable and impactful experience for our campers. You will work closely with our camp staff to assist in various activities, ensuring a safe, fun, and educational environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist camp staff in the delivery of daily activities, including educational sessions, sports, arts and crafts, and outdoor adventures.
Supervise and engage with campers to ensure their safety and well-being.
Help set up and clean up camp areas before and after activities.
Provide support during special events and field trips.
Foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere, encouraging camper participation and enthusiasm.
Assist with administrative tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

Passion for working with children and a commitment to their development.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
Reliable, punctual, and able to commit to the full duration of the camp.
Previous experience in a camp setting or working with children is a plus but not required.
Must pass a background check.
