The O’Dwyer Group (ODG) is looking for a strategic, forward-thinking Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead our finance and accounting operations across multiple companies. Reporting directly to the CEO, this role will drive financial strategy, governance, and transformation initiatives to ensure ODG’s continued growth and profitability. The ideal candidate is a seasoned financial executive who combines strong technical expertise with proven leadership and a passion for innovation.

Responsibilities:

Lead and develop the ODG accounting and finance team to foster collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Partner with the CEO and senior leadership to shape and execute financial strategy aligned with organizational goals.
Oversee accurate and timely financial reporting and ensure full compliance with regulatory and stakeholder requirements.
Manage budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning to support data-driven decision-making.
Drive finance transformation initiatives, including automation, system integration, and process optimization.
Oversee enterprise risk management, internal controls, and compliance frameworks to protect financial assets.
Manage treasury functions, working capital, and capital-raising efforts to support business growth.
Lead financial aspects of mergers, acquisitions, and other strategic transactions, including due diligence and integration.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including auditors, lenders, and investors, to ensure alignment on financial performance and objectives.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration (required).
CPA, CA, CMA, or CFA designation (required); MBA or master’s degree in Finance (preferred).
Minimum 15 years of progressive experience in senior finance leadership roles.
Demonstrated experience in mergers & acquisitions, capital structuring, and treasury management.
In-depth knowledge of GAAP, ASPE, and other applicable financial regulations.
Proven track record of implementing financial systems, improving reporting, and driving organizational efficiency.

Skills and Competencies:

Strategic leadership and executive-level financial management.
Expertise in financial governance, risk management, and capital allocation.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Exceptional communication and presentation abilities with stakeholders at all levels.
Proficiency with financial technology, ERP systems, and data analytics tools.
Ability to lead transformation initiatives and manage change in fast-paced environments.
