Full job description

Hours for this role are 9:00am to 5:00pm. This is a contract position, starting immediately and ending December 11, 2026.

Branded Bites is a bakery and co-packer producing cookies, chocolates, gift packages, and more. We have a retail cookie line sold through grocery stores across Canada and a promotional treats line selling custom-branded food packages for corporate giveaways and gifts.

We are a small and cohesive team of highly dedicated, motivated, and supportive individuals working hard to keep up with the rapid pace of production and growth of the company. We work together and often wear several hats to ensure we operate as effectively as possible. Team members are expected to work with a sense of urgency in a fast-paced environment with frequent changes to production schedules. The work completed is physical; you are expected to be on your feet and active throughout the day.

Due to the specialty nature of our product and processes, we will provide training to all new hires.

Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

Mixing of dough, cutting cookies, baking, and designing cookies
Moulding of chocolates
Hand packaging of finished products
Setup and operation of packaging equipment (sealers, fillers, weighers), including hand loading/unloading of product
Helping with all other tasks in the bakery
Daily cleaning of the facility

Qualifications

All candidates must be fluent in English, both verbal and written
Basic knowledge and comfort with computers is required
Previous bakery/culinary experience is an asset

Job Types: Fixed term contract, Seasonal
Contract length: 3 months

Pay: $18.00 per hour
