Full job description

We are seeking an experienced Spray Booth Painter to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will prepare, spray, and finish vinyl and aluminum window and door components while maintaining high-quality standards in a fast-paced production environment.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare window and door components by cleaning, sanding, masking, and inspecting surfaces before painting.
Apply primers, paints, and finishes using HVLP, conventional, or air-assisted spray equipment in a spray booth.
Mix paints, primers, hardeners, and coatings according to manufacturer specifications.
Ensure consistent paint coverage, color matching, and high-quality finishes.
Inspect painted products for defects and perform touch-ups as required.
Maintain spray booth equipment, spray guns, filters, and work area.
Follow production schedules and meet daily production targets.
Comply with all workplace health and safety procedures, including the proper use of PPE.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Collaborate with production and quality control teams to ensure product quality.

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of spray booth painting experience in a manufacturing environment.
Experience painting vinyl or aluminum windows, doors, metal products, automotive parts, cabinets, or similar manufactured products is preferred.
Proficient in operating HVLP, conventional, or air-assisted spray guns.
Knowledge of paint preparation, mixing ratios, viscosity, and curing processes.
Ability to identify and correct paint defects such as runs, orange peel, dry spray, and fisheyes.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality finishes.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with polyurethane, acrylic, or other industrial coatings.
Experience working in a manufacturing or production environment.
Forklift certification is an asset.
WHMIS certification is an asset.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $21.00-$25.00 per hour
