Job Overview
We are currently hiring Meat Packers for one of our clients in Mississauga. This is a full-time opportunity in a busy meat processing and packaging facility.
The successful candidates will be responsible for packaging and handling meat products while following all required food safety, sanitation, PPE, and workplace safety procedures.
This position involves working in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks, heavy lifting, and exposure to both hot and cold temperatures.
Responsibilities
- Package and prepare meat products according to production requirements.
- Perform repetitive packing, sorting, labeling, and processing tasks.
- Load, unload, move, and handle materials and products as required.
- Perform heavy lifting throughout the shift.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work area.
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures.
- Complete quality checks to ensure products are properly packaged, labeled, and meet company standards.
- Follow instructions from supervisors and work effectively as part of a team.
- Wear and properly use all required PPE and plant-approved protective clothing/attire.
- Follow all plant policies and procedures regarding hygiene, safety, and food handling.
- Work efficiently to meet daily production targets.
- Perform other general labour and production duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Previous food processing, meat packing, manufacturing, or warehouse experience is an asset but not required.
- Must be legally authorized to work in Canada and able to work full-time on a valid SIN.
- Cash work is not available.
- Must be available to work both morning and afternoon shifts.
- Must be willing and available to work on-call shifts when required.
- Must be comfortable working in a meat processing environment.
- Must be comfortable working in hot and cold temperatures.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
- Must be physically capable of heavy lifting throughout the shift.
- Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment.
- Must follow all required PPE, footwear, clothing, hygiene, and safety requirements while working inside the plant.
- Strong attendance, punctuality, and reliability are required.
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively with supervisors and coworkers.
- Good attention to detail and commitment to food safety.

Pay: $17.60-$17.75 per hour
