We're currently seeking an experienced Skilled Roofing Service Technician to join our growing team in the GTA.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving problems, working independently, and taking pride in high-quality workmanship. You'll work on a variety of commercial roofing systems, tackle unique challenges every day, and have the opportunity to grow your career with one of the industry's most respected roofing contractors.
As a Skilled Roofing Service Technician, you will play a key role in maintaining and repairing commercial roofing systems for our customers. You'll be responsible for diagnosing issues, recommending solutions, and performing repairs safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Inspect commercial roofing systems for leaks, damage, and deficiencies
- Diagnose roofing issues and determine appropriate repair solutions
- Perform repairs and maintenance on TPO, EPDM, modified bitumen, metal, and other commercial roofing systems
- Apply sealants, patches, coatings, and waterproofing solutions
- Complete service documentation, inspection reports, and photographs
- Maintain company quality and safety standards on every project
- Communicate professionally with customers, supervisors, and team members
- Assist with emergency service calls and preventative maintenance programs
- Ensure tools, equipment, and work areas are maintained in a safe and organized manner
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 3 years of commercial roofing experience
- Experience with TPO roofing systems preferred
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in the field
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Positive attitude and team-oriented approach
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical work in various weather conditions
- Valid Working at Heights Certification
- Valid G Driver's License with a clean driving record
