Position Summary
Press Helper will assist the Press Operator in increasing operational and customer satisfaction. In this role the helper is expected to assist modern gearless wide web 8 color Flexographic Press and experience in using solvent-based inks.
This position rotates over 3 shifts, Days (7 am to 3 pm) Afternoons (3 pm to 11 pm) and Nights (11pm to 7 am), 5-days per week, weekends as needed.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Communicate with the Press Operator about the product specifications
- Review job specification such as production time, colour sequence and quantities required.
- Prepare ink and solvents for the jobs
- Fill ink fountains and take measurements
- Remove and clean plates at the end of the press run
- Load and unload rolls
- Maintain cleanliness of the machine and the work area.
Education & Qualifications:
- High school diploma or Certification in Printing
- 2 years of experience running the Gearless Flexo Press Machine
Skills & Abilities:
- Ability to work with team and complete the setup within the allocated time.
- Ability to bend and lift up-to 50 lbs
- Good Mechanical Aptitude
- Good time-management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Possess knowledge in Health & Safety Standards

Compensation: $17.60-$20 CAD per hour
The compensation range listed reflects the expected compensation for the role. Actual compensation will be determined based on individual skills and experience.
