Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Server to join our vibrant restaurant team! As a Senior Server, you will be the cornerstone of exceptional guest experiences, leading by example and ensuring smooth service operations. Your energetic approach and hospitality expertise will help create memorable moments for our guests, fostering loyalty and satisfaction. This role offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your food industry knowledge, leadership skills, and passion for delivering outstanding customer service in a lively dining environment.

Duties

Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
Take accurate orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems, including Micros POS, and ensure timely delivery of food and beverages
Assist in training and mentoring junior servers to uphold service standards and efficiency
Manage table assignments, coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure proper food handling and timely food preparation
Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering duties and cash handling procedures
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in accordance with food safety regulations and restaurant policies
Monitor guest feedback and resolve any issues promptly to ensure a positive experience
Support the team during busy periods by managing multiple tables efficiently with excellent time management skills

Skills

Proven food service experience within a restaurant or hospitality setting with a focus on guest services
Strong knowledge of POS systems, particularly Micros POS, for efficient order processing and cashiering
Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during high-volume shifts
Deep understanding of food safety practices, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures
Ability to perform basic math accurately for billing, change calculation, and inventory checks
Experience in food preparation or kitchen operations is a plus but not required
Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude
Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and interact confidently with guests
Knowledge of the food industry trends, serving techniques, and upselling strategies to enhance guest experiences
