Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Kitchen Manager to oversee our culinary operations in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food service management, with the ability to lead and inspire a team while ensuring the highest standards of food quality and safety. This role is essential for maintaining an efficient kitchen operation, managing inventory, and delivering exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
Manage food preparation and cooking processes to maintain quality standards.
Train, mentor, and supervise kitchen staff, fostering a positive team environment.
Implement inventory control measures to minimize waste and manage food costs effectively.
Develop and maintain menus that reflect current trends while meeting customer preferences.
Ensure proper food handling techniques are followed by all staff members.
Conduct regular staff meetings to communicate goals, expectations, and feedback.
Assist in budgeting and financial planning for kitchen operations.
Collaborate with front-of-house management to ensure seamless service delivery.

Experience

Proven experience in kitchen management within quick service, fast food, or casual dining environments.
Strong culinary skills with a background in leadership.
Demonstrated ability in team management, including interviewing and training new staff members.
Excellent leadership skills with a focus on training & development of kitchen personnel.
Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in the food industry.
