Full job description

Are you looking for a full-time, temp-to-perm opportunity with 3-day weekends? We are hiring a Night Shift Assembler for a metal manufacturing facility in Brantford, ON, conveniently located on a local public transit bus route. Working within manufacturing & logistics, you will assemble structural metal components using hand and power tools in a modern, safety-focused environment.

This position runs Monday to Thursday from 5:30 PM to 4:00 AM. Base pay is $26.00 per hour, plus a $1.00 to $2.00 per hour shift and experience premium (earning up to $28.00/hr).

Responsibilities
Assemble structural metal sub-assemblies following mechanical drawings and work orders.

Safely operate hand tools, power tools, pneumatic equipment, and grinders.
Perform visual and dimensional quality checks using calipers and measuring tapes.
Safely maneuver metal components using hoists and material handling equipment.
Maintain a clean, safe workstation and adhere to all health and safety guidelines.

Qualifications
1+ years of experience in metal assembly or industrial manufacturing preferred.

Full availability for the night shift schedule (Mon–Thu, 5:30 PM–4:00 AM).
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long durations.
CSA-approved steel-toed safety boots required.
Hands-on experience with mechanical assembly and industrial power tools.
Ability to read basic assembly schematics and technical drawings.
Strong attention to detail and precise measuring capabilities.
Good communication skills and ability to thrive in a team environment.
