Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector (QCI) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for quality that encompasses keen observation and organization, with the ability to read blueprints.

Responsibilities:

Conduct quality control inspections on incoming materials and fabricated products to ensure they meet the required specifications, codes and standards.
Perform detailed measurements using tools such as calipers, tape measure, gauges, and micrometers.
Collect and analyze data from inspections to identify any quality issues or deviations.
Collaborate with production teams to address and resolve quality-related concerns.
Document inspection results and maintain accurate records of quality control activities.
Maintain calibration records.
Review Material Test Reports.
Role will involve heavy lifting and forklift driving.
Use of MS Office and Adobe products.

Qualifications:

Secondary School Education or equivalent.
Post secondary education in quality or related field.
Physically fit to perform inspection duties.
Attention to detail and accuracy in work.
Ability to understand mechanical drawings.
Effective communication skills both written and spoken.
Willingness to learn and improve oneself.
Experience in quality control inspection.
