TFM International is seeking an experienced and proactive Safety & Compliance Manager to lead our safety, regulatory compliance, and driver support programs. This leadership role is responsible for ensuring compliance with Canadian and U.S. transportation regulations while promoting a strong culture of safety across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Lead transportation safety and regulatory compliance initiatives.
Manage accident and incident reporting, investigations, and corrective actions.
Coach drivers on Hours of Service (HOS), DOT compliance, and safe driving practices.
Monitor and improve fleet compliance through reporting, audits, and performance tracking.
Oversee driver orientation, training programs, and ongoing coaching.
Support and optimize the ISAAC telematics system, including driver coaching and troubleshooting.
Chair and participate in accident review committees and recommend corrective actions.
Manage fleet licensing requirements, registrations, permits, and regulatory renewals.
Coordinate transponder, IFTA, IRP, Heavy Vehicle Use Tax, and licensing programs.
Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and compliance documentation.
Partner with Operations, Maintenance and Drivers to continuously improve safety performance.
Communicate regulatory updates, safety initiatives, and compliance expectations throughout the organization.

Qualifications

Experience in transportation safety, compliance, or fleet management.
Strong knowledge of Canadian and U.S. transportation regulations, including Hours of Service, DOT requirements and fleet licensing.
Excellent leadership, communication, and coaching skills.
Strong organizational, investigative, and problem-solving abilities.
