Full job description

General Assistant / Administrative Assistant

We are a growing home healthcare company looking for a dependable, organized, and proactive General Assistant to support the business owner with day-to-day operations. This is a dynamic role for someone who enjoys variety, takes initiative, and wants the opportunity to grow within the healthcare industry.

Responsibilities

Assist the business owner with day-to-day administrative and operational tasks.
Answer incoming phone calls and direct inquiries professionally.
Coordinate housing-related tasks and errands.
Complete grocery runs and other miscellaneous business-related errands.
Assist with transportation to appointments and other scheduled commitments.
Help keep the office and daily operations organized and running smoothly.
Provide general administrative support as needed.

Growth Opportunity

As you become familiar with the business, you will receive training and gradually take on additional responsibilities, including:

Healthcare scheduling and staff coordination.
Client intake and onboarding.
Administrative support for day-to-day business operations.
Assisting with business growth and operational planning.

Qualifications

Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
Professional, friendly, and dependable.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle.
Comfortable using computers, phones, email, and basic office software.
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work independently.
Previous administrative, executive assistant, or healthcare experience is an asset but not required—we are happy to train the right person.
