Erie Garage Doors is seeking a full-time Overhead Door Apprentice to join our fast-growing Service & Installation Team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is mechanically inclined, eager to learn, and ready to grow their skills in a hands-on, team-oriented environment.
We specialize in all types of Commercial and Industrial Overhead Doors and Dock Levelers:
- Sectional overhead doors
- Rubber and hi-speed roll-up doors
- Rolling steel doors
- All types of fire doors
- Dock levelers
- Truck restraints
- Dock seals & bumpers
- All related equipment in the loading dock area
- Electrical service
We will provide enhanced product training for the right person, to improve your already skilled abilities.
All applicants must have the following:
- Clean & Valid driver's license
- Technical experience
- Current valid Welding Ticket (Not required, but is an asset)

Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent Customer Service
- Complete daily service calls as required
- Document and detail all paperwork
- Manage parts, tools, equipment, materials
- Reliable and Responsible to the Team and Clients alike
Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 100 lbs.
- Valid trade ticket or some welding experience preferred (not required)
- Mechanically inclined with strong problem-solving skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Safety certifications (all company-required training will be provided)
- Team player who is detail-oriented and able to follow instructions
- Experience using power tools and various hand tools
