In this role, YOU WILL:

· Conduct Cattle Assessments, under DFC’s proAction® Animal Care pillar

· Provide high quality on-farm customer service and consultation, sharing information and answering questions about all Holstein Canada services

· Lead presentations and share knowledge on dairy trends, genetics, Holstein Canada services, industry news, and related topics

· This position is based in Eastern Ontario, with occasional travel to Quebec.

YOU OFFER:

· 3+ years of work experience, or equivalent experience, in the dairy industry

· Post-secondary education (preferred), or comparable relevant experience

· Exceptional abilities in customer service and relationship-building

· Solid understanding of the business needs of dairy producers in Ontario

· Proficiency with computers; you are adaptable to new technology

· Ability to independently manage administrative, travel, and scheduling tasks

· Valid driver’s license and proof of insurability

· Ability to communicate well in both French and English is an asset

Dans ce poste, VOS TÂCHES SERONT LES SUIVANTES :

· Effectuer des évaluations de bovins dans le cadre du programme de bien-être des animaux proAction® des PLC

· Offrir un service à la clientèle de haute qualité et accompagner les producteurs à la ferme, en partageant l’information et en répondant aux questions concernant l’ensemble des services de Holstein Canada

· Donner des présentations et transmettre des connaissances sur les tendances laitières, la génétique, les services de Holstein Canada, les nouvelles de l’industrie et d’autres sujets

· Ce poste est basé dans l’Est de l’Ontario et nécessite des déplacements occasionnels au Québec.

QUALIFICATIONS

· Trois ans ou plus d’expérience de travail (ou expérience équivalente) dans l’industrie laitière

· Études postsecondaires (de préférence) ou expérience pertinente comparable

· Aptitudes exceptionnelles au service à la clientèle et à l’établissement de relations

· Excellente compréhension des besoins opérationnels des fermes laitières de l’Ontario

· Maîtrise de l’informatique et capacité de s’adapter aux nouvelles technologies

· Capacité de gérer des tâches administratives, des déplacements et l’horaire en toute autonomie

· Permis de conduire valide et preuve d’assurabilité

· La capacité de bien communiquer en français et en anglais représente un atout.
