Full job description

Global Citrus Group Inc., is a privately owned leader in the international citrus industry, proudly headquartered in Brantford, Ontario. As a trusted partner to top citrus growers around the world and a preferred supplier to major grocery and big-box retailers across Canada, we’re committed to excellence at every stage of our supply chain. We’re currently seeking a motivated and reliable Shipper/Receiver to join our dynamic Facilities Team.

Position Overview:
This full-time, permanent role is a vital part of our plant operations. The Shipper/Receiver is responsible for supporting the efficient flow of goods by loading and unloading trailers, organizing inventory, and ensuring products are properly stored and distributed. This role requires strong attention to detail, physical stamina, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Load and unload trailers or containers safely and efficiently
Pick and assemble orders accurately
Deliver raw materials to production as needed
Move finished goods to cold storage areas
Strap and wrap pallets for secure shipment
Follow FIFO (First-In, First-Out) inventory management practices
Perform general production support tasks
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area

Qualifications:

Valid Forklift (FLT) and Power Jack licenses
Physically fit and capable of lifting up to 50 lbs
Strong attention to detail and safety-conscious
Previous experience in shipping/receiving or warehousing is an asset

Working Conditions:

Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends
Comfortable working in refrigerated environments for short durations
Part-time, permanent schedule with potential to increase hours as needed
Shift start times may vary, beginning as early as 6:30 AM

Physical & Sensory Requirements:

Ability to lift, bend, walk, and stand for extended periods
Must be able to read health and safety signage and hear equipment signals (e.g., vehicle horns)
Requires problem-solving in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
