Full job description

Come join a growing team dedicated to helping women get stronger- not smaller-through movement, mindset and sustainable healthy habits.

As an Assistant Coach, you’ll work with clients both 1:1 and online, while also supporting clients in small-group training settings. You’ll play an important role in helping women build strength, confidence and healthy habits that support them throughout their journey.

Qualifications for this role:

Preferred: A Bachelor's degree in Science or a Diploma in Health and Fitness (not required)
Holding a current personal training certification through an accredited organization and maintains personal professional liability insurance
A minimum of 2 years experience coaching clients either in an online and/or in-person setting
Experience working with clients in both 1:1 and group settings
Passionate about health, fitness and overall wellness, with a genuine desire to support clients throughout their journey's
Must be local to Brantford or surrounding areas

Responsibilities:

Part-time coaching hours, starting at approximately 2-10 hours per week with the opportunity to increase
Coach clients in both in-person and online settings
Design individualized resistance training programs based on client assessment results
Help clients build routines centered around foundational health habits
Provide weekly check-ins and monthly coaching calls to support client progress
Manage your own schedule in collaborating with your clients
Lead strength-based group fitness classes in a small group environment

This position is for you if:

You're passionate about supporting women on their health and fitness journey's
You love coaching but don't necessarily want the responsibility of getting clients or running your own business
You feel confident designing programs, providing exercise modifications and building meaningful relationships with clients
You have excellent communication skills and are a quick learner
You maintain a high level of professionalism and uphold exceptional standards of client care
You're eager to learn and implement new systems
You're confident coaching 1:1 and in small group environments

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
