Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Manager of Food Bank Operations to lead and optimize the daily functions of our local Food Bank. This vital role involves overseeing the efficient management of food inventory, supervising staff, ensuring ongoing compliance with safety and health regulations, and maintaining strong relationships with community partners. The ideal candidate will be passionate about combating hunger, possess excellent organizational skills, and demonstrate a proactive approach to program management. Join us in making a meaningful impact by ensuring that nutritious food reaches those in need with professionalism and enthusiasm.

Responsibilities

Coordinate and lead the overall day to day operations of the food bank, including client support, inventory management, logistics, and distribution processes.
Supervise staff members, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations to foster a motivated and effective team.
Provide hands on support in all operational areas when required.
Oversee safety protocols and sanitation standards to maintain a secure and healthy environment for staff and visitors.

Qualifications

Proven experience in leadership roles within nonprofit or community service organizations.
Demonstrated expertise in program coordination.
Strong background in program management with the ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously.
Supervising experience with a focus on team development, conflict resolution, and leadership.
Excellent organizational skills paired with attention to detail to ensure smooth daily operations.
Knowledge of food safety standards, health regulations, and warehouse logistics is preferred.
