The Opportunity: The Acute Withdrawal Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the 10-bed acute care withdrawal management unit.

Triage and prioritize the day-to-day operations of the withdrawal management team and facility by organizing unit operations and procedures and controlling correspondence

Ensure all health records are updated and approved.

Oversee and coordinate the delivery of care for patients by planning, developing, and implementing programs, and scheduling nursing and other allied health service staff,

Ensure the delivery of high-quality services and effective utilization of resources to meet operational needs.

What You Will Bring to The Role:
-
Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM)
-
British Columbia Centre on Substance Use (BCCSU) -Provincial Opioid Addictions Treatment Support Program (POATSP) for RN/RPN prescribing Opioid Agonist Therapy, or willing to obtain
-
CPR (level C)
-
RN first Call or Remote Certified practice, or willing to obtain

Wage Range: The target hiring range for this position is $61.1005 to $79.1268 per hour. Candidates will typically be hired, transferred or promoted between the minimum and midpoint of the wage range. Placement within the wage range is dependent on the applicants’ role specific knowledge, skills, abilities, related experience and in consideration of factors such as market conditions and internal equity.
