To this end, Foundry centres offer mental health and substance use services, primary care, social services, and youth and family peer support.
The Peer Support 3 (PS3) title replaces the former peer support life skills worker title. This full-time role is a significant step beyond the PS2 role and has greater responsibilities and expectations of staff.

The PS3 assists youth living with problematic substance use with psychosocial support, health care navigation, goal setting, information, transportation, mentorship, resources, and demonstrations.
Working closely with Foundry’s Concurrent Disorder Clinicians, the PS3 contributes to case planning and execution, follow up, and risk assessment, with strong contribution to documentation, data collection and program development.
