Kwa’lilas Hotel is seeking an inherent night owl to complete our Front Desk team! Kwa'lilas Hotel is located on Northern Vancouver Island in scenic Port Hardy, B.C. The Night Auditor is responsible for the oversight of the Front Desk between the hours of 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM. The Night Audit provides exceptional customer service, processes overnight check ins/outs, and completes light accounting and reporting functions.
The perfect candidate for this position has a passion for hospitality, can work well alone, and has a strong local knowledge of Port Hardy. Tourism experience is not required for this position, but a positive can-do attitude is! The Night Audit will report to the Front Desk Supervisor and Front Desk Manager.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Complete check ins/outs
- Answer various questions and requests from guests
- Balance's accounts from the day shift
- Distribute guests' final bills and collect payment
- Count and verify cash float
- Complete shift audits as required
- Print updates in-house, arrival, departure, and room status reports every two hours, pending activity.
- Respond to telephone, e-mail, and in-person inquiries from clients, business partners, and other parties.
- Provide information to guest's about local activities, trails, tours, etc.
- Perform other duties as required.
Role Requirements:
- Customer Service experience is an asset, but not required.
- Comfortable using programs such as MS Office and hotel reservation software.
- Strong organization skills and the ability to multitask.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods of time.
- Must be able to talk, listen, and speak clearly on the telephone.
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: $21.00-$23.00 per hour
