The responsibilities and tasks related to the job are:

Perform welding according to the job.
Select welding wire and adjusts equipment to interpret the work plans to be produced.
Clean parts before and after welding.
If necessary, assist the welder-fitter in assembling the parts.
Assemble parts that do not require a specific work drawing, such as jig assembly.
Perform maintenance of workstation and plant in general to ensure cleanliness and safety of the premises.
Report any major equipment breakdowns to the appropriate people and, if necessary, assist with repairs, safety of the premises.
