Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Locksmith Technician to join our team, providing expert lock and security solutions to residential, commercial, and automotive clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of lock systems, security hardware, and key duplication, with a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where technical proficiency and problem-solving skills are highly valued. Hourly wage will be determined base on experience.

Duties

Install, repair, and maintain various types of locks and security hardware across different settings
Cut and program keys for residential, commercial, and automotive applications
Diagnose lock issues and provide effective solutions promptly
Respond to emergency lockout situations with professionalism and efficiency
Conduct security assessments and recommend appropriate locking systems
Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used
Ensure all work complies with safety standards and company policies
Provide excellent customer service by explaining solutions clearly and professionally

Requirements

Minimum 2 years experience required
Proven experience as a locksmith or in a similar security-related role is preferred
Knowledge of lock mechanisms, electronic access control systems, and key programming tools
Ability to operate locksmith tools and equipment safely and effectively
Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail
Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and team members
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is preferred
Ability to work independently or as part of a team in various environments
Must pass background checks as required by the company policies

Pay: $25.00-$45.00 per hour
