Full job description

We are seeking a detail-oriented, motivated and experienced QA Supervisor to lead our Food Safety, QA and Sanitation team within our manufacturing operations. This role works closely with Production, Sanitation, Maintenance, and Operations to support continuous improvement and regulatory compliance.

Pace Processing consists of one federally registered CFIA/SQF level 2 certified meat plant, two cake plant (GMP & SQF certified respectively), one bakery plant (GMP certified), one Savory Plant (SQF Certified), one Cookie Plant (SQF Certified) and one dry warehouse (GDP certified). Currently Pace Processing is accepting applications for QA Supervisor.

Position: Full time QA Supervisor (3-month probation period)

Job Description:(includes the following, but is not limited to those listed):

Lead and supervise the quality control team to ensure adherence to quality standards and procedures.
Develop, implement, and maintain quality control protocols, inspection plans, and testing methods.
Collaborate with Plant managers/site Leaders to integrate quality assurance measures into daily operations.
Ensure compliance with company food safety and quality programs, including HACCP, GMPs, sanitation, allergen control, and preventive controls.
Conduct routine inspections, audits, and verification activities throughout the facility and report to QA Manager.
Investigate quality issues, customer complaints, and non-conformances, and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs).
Review production records, quality documentation, and CCP monitoring records for accuracy and completeness.
Lead root cause investigations and collaborate with cross-functional teams to prevent recurring issues.
Train, coach, and mentor QA staff and production employees on food safety, GMP’s, quality standards and regulatory requirements.
Coordinate internal audits and support external inspections or certifications as required.

Job Requirements:

Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Quality Assurance, or a related field.
Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in quality assurance within a food manufacturing environment.
Previous supervisory or leadership experience is preferred.
Strong knowledge of HACCP, GMPs, SQF, FDA/CFIA regulations, and food safety systems.
Experience with CAPA, root cause analysis, and quality management systems.
Proven experience in manufacturing environments with a focus on quality control and assurance.
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and make sound decisions under pressure.
