We are currently seeking a HR Professional to join our Canada team Canada (CA).
Responsibilities/Duties/Functions/Tasks
- To assist with New Employee Orientations assure to have complete personnel files, including the request to sign all legal documents.
- Perform HR/related activities on HRIS tools (SAP/SuccessFactors platform), primarily pertaining to the employee life cycle (from Hire to Retire).
- Assist with document audits which may include urgent requests to scan and send/upload documentation for internal/external audits or per legal/HR Business Partner requirements
- Assist with Tier One general inquiries such as policy content, basic leave questions, employee’s requirements to update documents such as life insurance and other transactional requests.
- To process the various HR transactions as per the laid guidelines/SOP
- Manage calls from employees other HR Staff (Proficient English/verbal communication skills)
- To receive/respond to email inquiries and assigned tickets - (Proficient writing skills)
- To perform tasks within the established turnaround time and capable of multitasking on a day-to-day basis
- Open for new business process changes and adaptability for new systems/technology
- Entering/maintaining data in HCM modules
Qualifications:
- Knowledge and understanding of HR processes, programs and policies
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Knowledge of Canadian employment legislation
- Proficient organizational skills
- Ability to work independently, as well as on a team
- Preferred previous experience working with filing and inventories.
- Solid communication and interpersonal skills with proven experience in handling confidential information with utmost confidentiality, tact, and diplomacy
- Intermediate level proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, SharePoint)
Preferences:
- Union based experience
- Certification/Diploma in HR
- Knowledge and understanding of HR processes, programs and policies
Job Level Specific Duties
- Provides first-level onsite support in response to basic and recurring customer questions through email or phone
- Performs employee data entry into HR core systems
- Coordinate new hire information into systems as well updating employee change-of-status
- Audits and corrects system employee data issues
- Assists more senior level team members by researching questions
- Prepares standard weekly / monthly reports for organization
- Escalates more complex issues to senior level team members or leadership
Typical Years of Experience
- Combination of experience and related education in Human Resources, Labour Relations, or a related field
The salary range for this role in BC is $50,000-55,000 depending on skills and experience
Responsabilités

- Contribuer aux audits de documents, incluant le traitement de demandes urgentes de numérisation et de téléversement pour des audits internes/externes ou selon les exigences légales et des partenaires RH.
- Répondre aux demandes de premier niveau (politiques RH, questions de base sur les congés, mises à jour de dossiers employés tels que l’assurance vie, et autres transactions courantes).
- Traiter les différentes transactions RH conformément aux procédures opérationnelles en place (SOP).
- Gérer les appels des employés et des équipes RH (excellentes compétences en communication en anglais requises).
- Assurer le suivi des demandes par courriel et par système de billetterie (excellentes aptitudes rédactionnelles).
- Respecter les délais de traitement établis et gérer efficacement plusieurs tâches simultanément.
- Faire preuve d’adaptabilité face aux changements de processus et aux nouvelles technologies.
- Effectuer la saisie et la mise à jour des données dans les modules SIRH (HCM).

- Bonne connaissance des processus, programmes et politiques en ressources humaines
- Grande rigueur et souci du détail
- Connaissance de la législation du travail canadienne
- Excellentes habiletés organisationnelles
- Capacité à travailler de façon autonome et en équipe
- Expérience en gestion documentaire et en tenue de dossiers (atout)
- Excellentes compétences interpersonnelles et capacité démontrée à traiter des informations confidentielles avec discrétion, tact et professionnalisme
- Maîtrise intermédiaire de la suite Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, SharePoint)

- Vérifier et corriger les données dans les systèmes RH
- Soutenir les membres seniors de l’équipe dans les recherches et analyses
- Produire des rapports standards hebdomadaires et mensuels
- Escalader les dossiers plus complexes aux membres seniors ou à la direction
Expérience
- Combinaison de formation et d’expérience en ressources humaines, relations du travail ou domaine connexe
Rémunération
- Échelle salariale en Colombie-Britannique : 50 000 $ à 55 000 $, selon l’expérience et les compétences
