Full job description

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Construction Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in supporting various construction projects by performing essential tasks that contribute to the overall success of our operations. This position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety on the job site.

Duties

Assist in the preparation and cleanup of construction sites, ensuring a safe and organized work environment.
Operate hand tools and power tools as directed, following all safety protocols.
Load and unload materials, ensuring they are stored properly and accessible for use.
Support skilled tradespeople such as carpenters, electricians, and plumbers by providing assistance with their tasks.
Follow instructions from supervisors and project managers to complete assigned tasks efficiently.
Maintain equipment and tools in good working condition through regular cleaning and basic maintenance.
Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies while on-site.

Requirements

Previous experience in construction or labor-intensive roles is preferred but not mandatory.
Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and perform physically demanding tasks for extended periods.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.
Basic knowledge of construction tools and equipment is advantageous.
Willingness to learn new skills and take direction from experienced workers.
Must be reliable, punctual, and demonstrate a strong work ethic.
Compliance with safety standards is essential; prior training in safety practices is a plus.
