Full job description

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Crane Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in operating various types of cranes and possess a strong understanding of construction processes. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with team members to ensure efficient operations on job sites.

Duties

Operate cranes to lift, move, and position heavy materials and equipment safely and efficiently.
Conduct pre-operational checks on cranes and other equipment to ensure they are in safe working condition.
Collaborate with ground crew members to coordinate lifting operations and ensure safety protocols are followed.
Utilize rigging techniques to secure loads properly before lifting.
Maintain clear communication with team members throughout the operation using hand signals or radios.
Perform routine maintenance on cranes and report any mechanical issues promptly.
Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines while operating machinery on construction sites.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Crane Operator, preferably in a construction environment.
Strong mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting skills related to crane operation.
Familiarity with boom trucks and forklift operation is a plus.
Ability to communicate effectively in both English
Excellent customer service skills, demonstrating professionalism when interacting with clients and team members.
Knowledge of rigging techniques and safety practices related to crane operation is essential.

Pay: From $45.00 per hour
