Central Victoria Veterinary Hospital is looking for full-time RVTs to join our Emergency & ICU teams!
This role works closely with our ER DVMs and board-certified specialists, including two boarded criticalists, in a fast-paced, stimulating, world-class medical environment. If you already have your VTS in Emergency and Critical Care, or if you dream of one day achieving your VTS, this is where you want to be: among specialists who literally wrote the books on Veterinary Medicine and the RECOVER initiative, as well as our anesthesia-focused RVT and board-certified anesthesiologist. We are a supportive, collaborative, hands-on teaching facility for anyone wanting to grow their skills.
Successful candidates will display strong leadership, a desire to grow their skills, a positive teamwork-type attitude and a personality that can deliver exceptional customer service and communication skills.
This position requires flexibility to work on a rotating schedule; however, it also affords a great work-life balance on beautiful Vancouver Island! If you dream of living in a mild climate with non-stop opportunities for hiking, biking and nature viewing from your backyard, this is the place to be!
New grads are welcome to apply and will benefit from a teaching environment that includes mentorship from experienced RVTs and advanced learning opportunities.

Willing to further enhance technical skills
Ability to thrive in a steady and often fast-paced environment
Exceptional interpersonal skills in working with your colleagues and pet parents
Proven ability to keep accurate patient records
Strong ability to problem-solve
A love of pets, of course!
