Job Description

Reporting to the Executive Housekeeper, responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Ensure the cleanliness of guest rooms, colleague service areas & corridors while adhering to hotel standards
Making beds, changing sheets and towels
Cleaning washroom facilities including toilets, bathtubs, sinks, mirrors, floors, bathroom fixtures and others as assigned
Vacuuming floors, draperies and upholstered furniture
Dusting of furniture and fixtures
Stock guest room amenities
Removal and sorting of linen, garbage and recycling
Sort, collect, transport and process soiled linens and laundry according to hotel standards
Operate laundry equipment, including washers, dryers, and other related equipment, as required
Fold, organize and distribute clean linens, towels and other laundry items to appropriate departments
Inspect linens and laundry items for stains, damage or excessive wear and report issues to the Executive Housekeeper
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area and ensure proper handling and storage of laundry supplies
Assist guests with concerns and requests in a timely manner
Comply with all department policies, procedures, and service standards
Follow and proactively promote all health and safety policies and initiatives
Other reasonable duties as assigned
