We take pride in our ability to provide authentic Texas style BBQ with an assortment of fresh baked bread and other baked goods. In addition to our delicious pastries and baked treats, we offer a full coffee program featuring high-quality espresso drinks and brewed coffee. We are looking for a barista who shares our love of great food, coffee, and friendly hospitality.
Job Summary:
As a barista at HomeTime Bakery, you’ll be responsible for crafting high-quality coffee beverages, serving guests with a warm and welcoming attitude, and supporting the team in maintaining a clean, efficient, and positive working environment. This role requires someone who enjoys fast-paced service, is detail oriented, and cares about the guest experience from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve coffee and espresso-based drinks using our espresso machine and brewing equipment
- Provide friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient customer service
- Help guests navigate the bakery offerings, answer questions about coffee and baked goods
- Maintain a clean and organized coffee station and front-of-house area
- Slicing and bagging fresh bread and buns
- Restock coffee supplies, syrups, milk, and pastries as needed throughout the shift
- Assist with opening and closing duties, including cleaning equipment and prepping for the next day
- Collaborate with bakery and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow
- Taking breakfast orders and delivering food during our breakfast program in the mornings
- Follow food safety and sanitation standards
Qualifications:
- Previous barista or customer service experience preferred, but willing to train the right person.
- Familiarity with espresso machines and basic coffee preparation techniques is a plus.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy environment.
- A genuine interest in coffee, food, and hospitality.
- Punctual, dependable, and team-oriented.

Pay: $15.00-$17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
