À propos du poste

Un fabricant alimentaire établi à Montréal recherche une personne expérimentée et polyvalente pour améliorer la fiabilité de ses équipements et coordonner d’importants projets d’équipement.

Ce poste combine la maintenance électromécanique pratique avec la gestion du programme d’entretien et la coordination de projets. La personne retenue travaillera directement sur les équipements de production tout en organisant les fournisseurs, sous-traitants, pièces, échéanciers et budgets. Il ne s’agit pas d’un poste de gestion de personnel.

Principales responsabilités

Diagnostiquer, réparer et entretenir les équipements de production et d’emballage alimentaire.

Résoudre les problèmes mécaniques, électriques, pneumatiques et hydrauliques.

Participer directement aux réparations, entretiens planifiés, modifications et installations.

Organiser le programme d’entretien préventif, les priorités, dossiers, calendriers et pièces critiques.

Analyser les défaillances répétitives et mettre en place des mesures correctives durables.

Planifier et coordonner l’installation, le déplacement, l’amélioration et la mise en service d’équipements.

Obtenir des soumissions et coordonner les fabricants, fournisseurs, gens de métier et sous-traitants.

Commander les pièces et services, suivre les livraisons et respecter les budgets et échéanciers.

Communiquer clairement l’état des équipements, l’avancement des projets, les risques et les décisions requises.

Respecter les exigences BRC, HACCP, de salubrité alimentaire, d’assainissement et de santé-sécurité.

Qualifications requises

Au moins cinq années d’expérience en maintenance électromécanique industrielle.

Au moins trois années d’expérience en fabrication d’aliments ou de boissons.

Solides compétences pratiques en diagnostic mécanique et électrique.

Expérience avec des équipements de production, transformation, emballage, convoyage ou automatisation.

Expérience en coordination d’installations d’équipement ou de projets de maintenance industrielle.

Capacité d’organiser les fournisseurs, sous-traitants, pièces, échéanciers et budgets.

Excellentes aptitudes en organisation, communication, jugement et suivi.

Français professionnel et anglais technique suffisant pour communiquer avec les fabricants et comprendre la documentation.

Disponibilité sur place du lundi au vendredi, de 7 h à 15 h 30.

Atouts : diagnostic d’automates programmables et d’interfaces opérateur, soudage, fabrication et mise en service d’équipement.

About the role

An established Montreal food manufacturer is seeking an experienced, versatile professional to improve equipment reliability and coordinate important equipment projects.

This position combines hands-on electromechanical maintenance with ownership of the maintenance program and project coordination. The successful candidate will work directly on production equipment while organizing suppliers, subcontractors, parts, schedules and budgets. This is not a people-management position.

Key responsibilities

Troubleshoot, repair and maintain food-production and packaging equipment.

Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic problems.

Work directly on breakdown repairs, planned maintenance, modifications and installations.

Organize the preventive-maintenance program, priorities, records, schedules and critical spare parts.

Investigate recurring failures and implement durable corrective actions.

Plan and coordinate equipment installations, relocations, improvements and commissioning.

Obtain quotations and coordinate manufacturers, suppliers, tradespeople and subcontractors.

Order parts and services, monitor deliveries and keep work on schedule and within budget.

Communicate equipment status, project progress, risks and required decisions clearly.

Comply with BRC, HACCP, food-safety, sanitation and workplace-safety requirements.

Required qualifications

At least five years of industrial electromechanical maintenance experience.

At least three years of food and beverage manufacturing experience.

Strong hands-on mechanical and electrical troubleshooting ability.

Experience with production, processing, packaging, conveying or automated equipment.

Experience coordinating equipment installations or industrial-maintenance projects.

Ability to organize suppliers, subcontractors, parts, schedules and budgets.

Excellent organization, communication, judgment and follow-through.

Professional French and sufficient technical English for equipment manufacturers and documentation.

Availability to work on-site Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

PLC/HMI troubleshooting, welding, fabrication and equipment commissioning are assets.

Salary of $85,000–$105,000, based on experience.
