Our services include housekeeping, cleaning, back-of-house, and general hospitality support. As we continue to expand, we are looking for an experienced Hospitality Operations Coordinator who understands hotel operations and can coordinate employees, schedules, client requirements, and daily operational needs.
This is a hands-on operational position. The successful candidate must be comfortable working from the office and visiting client locations when on-site support is required.

The Role
The Hospitality Operations Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and supporting the daily operations of our hotel and hospitality service contracts.
You will work closely with hotel management, supervisors, employees, and DishwasherHero’s internal departments to ensure that every client receives reliable staffing and high-quality service.
The ideal candidate must have previous experience in hotels or the hospitality industry and understand areas such as housekeeping, room attendants, housemen, public-area cleaning, laundry, kitchen support, staffing requirements, and hotel service standards.
Your ResponsibilitiesHotel Operations Coordination
- Coordinate the daily operations of hotel and hospitality service contracts.
- Ensure that each client location has the required number of employees for every scheduled shift.
- Confirm daily staffing requirements with hotel managers and internal departments.
- Monitor attendance, punctuality, employee performance, uniforms, and schedule changes.
- Respond quickly to absences, late arrivals, call-outs, staffing shortages, and other operational issues.
- Arrange replacements and shift coverage when employees are unavailable.
- Ensure employees understand their schedules, responsibilities, work areas, and client instructions.
- Support new hotel implementations, special events, and periods of high occupancy.
- Visit client locations when required to monitor operations and provide on-site support.
Hospitality Service Standards
- Ensure employees follow each hotel’s service, cleanliness, safety, presentation, and conduct standards.
- Monitor housekeeping, room attendant, houseman, public-area, laundry, kitchen, and cleaning assignments.
- Support supervisors with workloads, room assignments, checklists, and shift priorities.
- Understand room-status procedures, inspections, guest-service expectations, and hotel department structures.
- Identify service deficiencies and coordinate corrective action.
- Ensure operational concerns are handled promptly and professionally.
- Consider occupancy levels, group arrivals, events, and check-in and check-out periods when coordinating staffing.
Client Communication
- Maintain professional communication with hotel managers, housekeeping managers, executive housekeepers, department heads, and other client representatives.
- Confirm schedules, staffing levels, service expectations, and last-minute changes.
- Follow up with clients regarding employee performance and service quality.
- Document client requests, feedback, complaints, and operational incidents.
- Investigate concerns and provide timely updates to management.
- Participate in client meetings and operational reviews.
- Build and maintain strong professional relationships with clients.
Employee Coordination
- Provide clear instructions to employees before and during their assignments.
- Support the integration of new employees at hotel locations.
- Confirm that employees arrive prepared, in the correct uniform, and with the necessary information.
- Monitor employee attendance, conduct, productivity, and compliance with company and client policies.
- Provide coaching and operational guidance when necessary.
- Report repeated attendance, performance, or conduct issues to management.
- Coordinate with Recruitment and Onboarding when additional employees are required.
- Help ensure employees are properly prepared before being assigned to a client.
Scheduling and Timekeeping
- Prepare and update employee schedules according to client requirements.
- Monitor shift confirmations, attendance, replacements, and schedule changes.
- Review timesheets and verify employee hours with supervisors and clients.
- Identify discrepancies involving hours, absences, missed punches, or overtime.
- Ensure overtime is controlled and approved according to company procedures.
- Provide accurate information to the Payroll and Finance departments.
- Maintain organized scheduling, attendance, and operational records.
Reporting and Operational Improvement
- Prepare operational reports related to staffing, attendance, performance, incidents, client feedback, and pending issues.
- Track shift coverage, punctuality, absenteeism, overtime, service quality, and client satisfaction.
- Identify recurring problems and recommend practical solutions.
- Create and maintain operational checklists, schedules, procedures, employee lists, and client instructions.
- Anticipate staffing or service gaps before they affect the client.
- Report urgent or significant operational concerns to company management.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Minimum of three years of experience in hotel operations, hospitality coordination, housekeeping operations, workforce coordination, or a related position.
- Previous experience working directly in a hotel or hospitality environment is required.
- Experience coordinating or supervising hourly hospitality employees.
- Knowledge of hotel operations, including housekeeping, room attendants, housemen, public-area cleaning, laundry, and back-of-house support.
- Fluency in French and English, both spoken and written, is required.
- Knowledge of Spanish is considered a strong asset but is not required.
- Experience creating schedules, managing call-outs, arranging replacements, and reviewing timesheets.
- Strong understanding of hotel service standards, guest expectations, workplace safety, and professional conduct.
- Excellent organizational, communication, follow-up, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to coordinate multiple clients, employees, schedules, and priorities.
- Ability to remain calm and professional in urgent or high-pressure situations.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, scheduling platforms, and workforce-management systems.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings, weekends, or holidays, depending on operational needs.
- Availability to visit client locations when operational support is required.
- Valid driver’s licence is considered an asset.
