Job Summary

Café Rì Yuè est à la recherche d’un(e) pâtissier(-ère) fiable et passionné(e) pour se joindre à son équipe. La personne idéale possède de l’expérience en pâtisserie ou en production boulangère, travaille efficacement et accorde une grande attention à la qualité et à la présentation.

Responsabilités

Préparer des gâteaux, des biscuits, de la focaccia, des sandwichs ainsi que certains ingrédients pour les boissons
Mesurer les ingrédients, préparer les mélanges, assembler, décorer et effectuer la finition des desserts
Respecter les recettes et assurer l’uniformité de la qualité, des saveurs et de la présentation
Emballer soigneusement les produits pour la présentation et les commandes à emporter
Coordonner la production avec le reste de l’équipe de cuisine
Maintenir son poste de travail propre, organisé et bien désinfecté
Respecter les normes d’hygiène et de salubrité alimentaires

Qualifications

Une expérience préalable en pâtisserie, en boulangerie ou dans une cuisine professionnelle est un atout
Connaissance des techniques de base en pâtisserie et en décoration de gâteaux
Capacité à travailler de façon autonome dans un environnement au rythme rapide
Grand souci du détail et bon sens de l’organisation et de la gestion du temps
Fiabilité, ponctualité et esprit d’équipe
Une connaissance des normes de manipulation et de salubrité alimentaires est un atout

Horaire

Les candidat(e)s doivent être disponibles tous les vendredis et samedis, de 7 h 30 jusqu’à environ 15 h 30 à 17 h 30, selon les besoins.

Des heures supplémentaires pourraient être offertes, avec la possibilité que le poste devienne à temps plein.

Salaire de départ : 20 $ l’heure, plus pourboires estimés entre 1,50 $ et 2 $ l’heure.

Café Rì Yuè is looking for a reliable and passionate Pastry Cook to join our team. The ideal candidate has experience in pastry or bakery production, works efficiently, and pays close attention to quality and presentation.

Responsibilities

Prepare cakes, cookies, focaccia, sandwiches, and ingredients for beverages
Measure ingredients, mix batters, assemble, decorate, and finish desserts
Follow recipes and maintain consistent quality, flavour, and presentation
Package baked goods for display and takeout
Coordinate production with the kitchen team
Keep the workstation clean, organized, and properly sanitized
Follow all food-safety and hygiene standards

Qualifications

Previous pastry, bakery, or professional kitchen experience
Knowledge of basic baking and cake-decorating techniques
Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment
Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management
Reliable, punctual, and able to work well with a team
Food-handling or food-safety knowledge is an asset

Schedule

Candidates must be available every Friday and Saturday from 7:30 a.m. until approximately 15:30-5:30 p.m.

Additional hours can be available , with the possibility of transitioning to a full-time position in the future.

starting wage: $20+ tips ($1.5-$2 per hour)

Pay: $20.00-$24.00 per hour
