Someone who watches TikTok and immediately starts thinking, "We should do our own version of that."
Someone who knows why one video gets 5 million views while another gets 500.
Someone who can create amazing content, build relationships with creators, organize photoshoots, host live shopping events, and continuously come up with new ideas that grow our brand.

Your Mission
Your mission is simple:
Make The Steel Shop one of the most recognizable jewelry brands on social media.
You'll lead our content strategy, manage our influencer program, create engaging campaigns, and constantly push creative boundaries.
If your first instinct when you see a trend is "How can we make this better?", you'll fit right in.
Content Creation & Creative Strategy
Content is at the heart of everything we do.
We're looking for someone who doesn't wait for ideas—they create them.
Responsibilities
- Plan, film, edit, and publish engaging content for TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube Shorts, Pinterest, and emerging platforms.
- Brainstorm fresh content ideas every week and continuously pitch new concepts.
- Develop creative hooks, storylines, scripts, and video concepts that stop people from scrolling.
- Stay ahead of TikTok trends, sounds, editing styles, memes, and platform updates.
- Build monthly content calendars alongside our marketing team.
- Film content both inside and outside the office.

TikTok LIVE & Social Commerce
We're looking for someone comfortable being on camera and engaging directly with our community.
Responsibilities include:
- Host TikTok LIVE shopping sessions
- Showcase new arrivals
- Launch products live
- Answer customer questions
- Style products live
- Interview guests and creators
- Create entertaining LIVE concepts
- Analyze LIVE performance and improve future sessions
Influencer Marketing & Creator Partnerships
You'll build and manage one of Canada's leading jewelry creator programs.
Responsibilities
- Discover new creators every week.
- Recruit influencers across Canada and the United States.
- Build long-term creator relationships.
- Manage product gifting campaigns.
- Create campaign briefs.
- Review creator submissions.
- Provide creative feedback.
- Approve content before posting.
- Organize shipping and campaign logistics.
- Collect Spark Ad authorizations.
- Track campaign performance and ROI.
- Build ambassador and affiliate programs.
- Maintain an organized creator database.
- Identify high-performing creators for long-term partnerships.
- Source creators that genuinely fit our brand—not just based on follower count.
Social Media Management
- Manage TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, and YouTube Shorts.
- Schedule and publish content.
- Write engaging captions.
- Monitor trends daily.
- Respond to comments and engage with our community.
- Help grow every platform organically.
Creative Direction
You'll work closely with our marketing team to shape the visual direction of the brand.
Responsibilities include:
- Coordinate lifestyle photoshoots.
- Help select models and locations.
- Plan seasonal campaigns.
- Choose products for photoshoots and videos.
- Review marketing creatives.
- Maintain brand consistency across every platform.
- Ensure all content reflects a premium brand image.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who is:

- Passionate about TikTok and short-form video.

- Confident directing others during shoots.
- Passionate about fashion, jewelry, or lifestyle brands.
- Always bringing new ideas to the table.
- Self-motivated and proactive.
- Excited to experiment, test, learn, and improve.
Preferred Experience
- Experience creating viral short-form content.
- Experience managing influencer campaigns.
- Strong video editing skills (CapCut, Premiere Pro, Final Cut, or similar).
- Strong copywriting skills.
- Experience coordinating creators or photoshoots.
- Photography or videography experience is an asset.
- Experience with Meta Ads or TikTok Ads is an asset.
- Experience with Shopify, Klaviyo, or Canva is a plus.
