Head Chef

Full-Time, Permanent Role
$80,000 - $85,000 / Annually (DOE) + Benefits

AMK Global is hiring an experienced Head Chef with a strong background in premium or fine dining restaurants, hands-on leadership role for a chef who understands premium steaks, butchery, sushi, seafood, raw bar, and luxury ingredients and can maintain high standards in a busy open-kitchen environment.

What You’ll Do

Lead all back-of-house operations in a fast-paced fine dining kitchen.
Maintain high standards for food quality, taste, presentation, and consistency.
Prepare and oversee premium steaks, sushi, sashimi, seafood, and raw bar dishes.
Create seasonal features and menu specials using premium ingredients.
Lead kitchen service and maintain the highest culinary standards.
Manage food costs, inventory, ordering, and labour.
Hire, coach, and develop a high-performing kitchen team.
Maintain the highest standards of food safety, cleanliness, and kitchen organization.

What We’re Looking For

Minimum 7+ years of Head Chef experience in a fine dining or premium restaurant.
Strong expertise in premium steak programs, butchery, seafood, and luxury ingredients.
Experience with sushi, sashimi, Japanese cuisine, or a raw bar is highly preferred
Exceptional plating skills and attention to detail.
Strong food cost, inventory, and kitchen management skills.
Passion for quality, presentation, and consistency.
Culinary diploma or equivalent experience. Red Seal is an asset.
