CarePartners is one of Ontario’s largest accredited home health care providers, providing nursing, personal support, therapy and rehabilitation support services for patients of all ages. Overview:

Home Support Workers are an integral part of a health care team, and in this role, you will encourage, support, and promote independence for patients in home and community care settings by assisting with activities of daily living under the supervision of our Personal Support Manager.

We are looking for Home Support Workers (HSWs) to help us bring patient and family-centered care to in patients in the Burlington area. Are you someone we should meet?

Our next course intake date is April 7th, 2026.

This course consists of virtual and in-person training. The following is required for attendance in the program:

Internet access
A laptop or device that has a webcam and is compatible with Microsoft Teams (CarePartners equipment will be available to attend training upon request)

Paid orientation and 24 hours of preceptorship from an experienced PSW
This position offers a competitive compensation grid, the hourly range is $20.42 to $20.85.

PAID MILEAGE at 0.45 per/km PLUS travel time

What The Role Involves:

CarePartners HSWs provide professional, compassionate care in homes and residences in the community. HSWs assist with activities of daily living, allowing patients and families to live life to the fullest with dignity and independence:

Bathing, showering, personal hygiene
Dressing
Meal preparation
Transferring/repositioning
Light housekeeping
Bowel/bladder care
Socializing and companionship

What You Bring:

A caring nature and willingness to help others through excellent customer service
A desire to support your community and enhance someone’s quality of life
Ability to attend the full time training program
A valid driver’s license (G or G2 Classification), access to a reliable vehicle, and proof of automobile insurance
To protect our patients, we require current vulnerable sector check screening, and a clear background check *
