Full job description

Frahm Interiors is seeking an Intermediate Designer who is highly motivated and detail-oriented to join our creative team. This is a freelance position with the opportunity for a long term contract. 15-25 hrs per week

REQUIREMENTS:

Interior decorating or design diploma/degree(not suitable for students returning to school)

Ability to create detailed working drawings and FF&E schedules

Excellent verbal and written communication

Exceptional organization and time management

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD and 3D rendering software(SketchUp or similar) preferably a PC User

Must live local to Burlington ON

Must have reliable vehicle

RESPONSIBILITIES: The chosen candidate will be responsible for assisting the principal designer with all aspects of design and project management.

Duties include:

Attend client meetings, and assist with site measures

Research, source, price, acquire samples, and document product selections

Create accurate working drawings and design packages

Liaise with clients, trades and vendors

Ensure project files are current and accurate

Assist with on-site installations and styling
