Job Title: Sales / Application Engineer

Job Summary: Join the energetic and pioneering team at Verdyn. We're looking for an enthusiastic, early-career Sales/Application Engineer eager to learn the technical and commercial sides of our business. You'll work alongside our senior engineers and sales team to support customers, build tailored solutions, and grow our portfolio of power products. This is a great opportunity for a recent graduate or someone early in their career to develop both engineering and client-facing skills in a fast-growing clean-energy company.

Responsibilities:

Learn our portfolio of power products and help demonstrate their capabilities to customers and partners, with support from senior team members.
Assist in analyzing customer needs and developing tailored solutions using Verdyn's product suite.
Support the sales team in solution selling by aligning client needs with our technology.
Keep up with the competitive landscape and emerging technologies in power reliability, microgrid systems, and EV charging.
Collaborate with the sales, marketing, and R&D teams to help translate technical details into clear benefits for clients.
Help gather and organize market intelligence to inform our sales approach.
Assist in preparing and delivering educational sessions and workshops for clients.

Qualifications:

A Bachelor's degree (or diploma) in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
Some exposure to sales, customer-facing work, or the power/renewable energy space through co-op, internship, or entry-level experience is an asset, but not required.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with an interest in translating technical information into clear, understandable benefits.
A proactive, curious mindset and eagerness to learn about power electronics, microgrids, and EV charging infrastructure.
Good problem-solving skills and a willingness to help address customer questions and concerns.
Solid organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
A collaborative attitude and enthusiasm for working as part of a team.
