The Thermoforming Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining thermoforming equipment used to manufacture plastic parts and packaging products. This role ensures efficient production runs, high product quality, and adherence to safety and operational standards.
Set up and operate thermoforming machines in accordance with production schedules and product specifications.
Load raw materials and monitor machine operations to ensure continuous and efficient production.
Inspect formed parts for quality, dimensions, and defects, making necessary adjustments to maintain standards.
Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, and troubleshooting of thermoforming equipment.
Record production data including quantities produced, downtime, and material usage.
Collaborate with maintenance and quality control teams to resolve technical or material issues.
Ensure all work complies with safety and environmental regulations.
Assist in die changes, setup verification, and process optimization for new molds.
Maintain organized and clean work areas.
