About Fingarde

Fingarde is on a mission to build smart, intuitive financial tools for the builders of the world, starting with Spendifique, our AI-powered expense and bookkeeping platform for small business owners and bookkeepers. Spendifique helps users save time, cut the clutter, and actually understand their expenses, even if they have never worked with a bookkeeper before.

We are an early-stage BC tech startup, small and fast-moving. Spendifique is the first of many tools we plan to build under the Fingarde platform, and you will work directly with the founder to help the world discover it.

The role

You will be one of our early hires and the person who gets our marketing done. The founder sets the strategy and priorities; you execute quickly across content, SEO, email, and social, using modern tools (and AI) to move faster than any one person could alone. This is a build-it role for someone early in their career who wants real ownership and to learn a lot, fast.

What you'll own (in priority order)

Website and SEO pages. Build and continuously improve our feature, integration, and comparison pages so prospects instantly understand the product and we rank on Google and AI answers.
Content and blog. Draft SEO-focused blog posts and comparison content (you draft, the founder reviews), and keep it published on a steady cadence.
SEO operations. Keyword research, on-page optimization, Search Console monitoring, and directory and app-marketplace listings.
Lifecycle email. Help build and run onboarding, activation, and free-to-paid nurture emails in HubSpot, and grow this as our email list grows.
Social media. Run our company channels, repurpose content into posts, and support the founder's LinkedIn presence.
Creative and assets. Simple graphics, screenshots, one-pagers, and demo clips (Canva or similar).
Research and reporting. Competitor and market research, plus a weekly snapshot of the metrics that matter.

What we're looking for

Must have:

Clear, correct writing in native-level English. You will write customer-facing copy.
Comfort with modern marketing and AI tools, and the ability to pick up new ones fast.
Self-starter energy: you have marketed something before (a side project, a student club, a personal blog or social account, a prior internship).
Organized, reliable, and comfortable with the ambiguity of a tiny startup.
Takes direction well and turns work around quickly.

Nice to have (assets, none required):

Experience with Webflow, it is where we build our website.
Experience with HubSpot, where we run email, lifecycle, and CRM.
Familiarity with SEO basics and Google Search Console / GA4.
Comfort using AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude) to draft and research.
A good eye in Canva or Figma (bonus, not essential).
Interest in fintech, accounting, or B2B SaaS.
