Summary:

We are seeking a proactive professional for our Scale Attendant / Office Administrator position, designed specifically as a seamless job-share. In this collaborative model, the two positions will alternate days to manage the scale house and office operations. The role requires an individual who is able to provide a consistent, high-quality experience for our customers and team.

What the role will be doing:

Optimize Scale Operations: Execute precise weighing and measuring of all materials to ensure 100% data integrity within our internal tracking systems.
Elevate Customer Experience: Deliver professional, prompt service to every customer to reinforce Amix’s reputation and drive long-term customer loyalty.
Facilitate Yard Flow: Coordinate incoming traffic and operational priorities to maximize site safety and logistical efficiency.
Streamline Administration: Drive office productivity by managing communications, maintaining accurate account records, and ensuring a professional, organized workspace.
Collaborative Communication: Ability to relay critical information clearly – both written and verbal - and facilitate smooth transitions with your job-share partner.
Organizational Excellence: In depth experience in managing complex tasks and maintaining orderly data in a fast-paced environment.
Customer Service Experience: Experience with being professional and polite in forward facing customer positions and the ability to create and build relationships with customers.
Attention to Detail: High accuracy in data entry and daily record-keeping to ensure operational compliance.
Strong Math Skills Required: Comfortable handling numbers and basic calculations quickly and accurately.
Independent Drive: Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, take initiative, and problem-solve on the fly.
Commits to team effort and is willing to assist with projects outside of job responsibilities in order to achieve a common goal.
Other duties as assigned.

The Inventory Supervisor requires a candidate with:

1–3+ years scale experience
Experience in the metal recycling industry
Great customer service
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in basic mathematics and high attention to detail for precise data entry and record-keeping.
Skilled in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) with the desire and capability to master industry-specific software.
Data Entry: ability to accurately and efficiently enter in numeric data
Strong personal commitment to safety and the well-being of coworkers
