Red Pass (RAIC – Restricted Area Identity Card): not required to apply, but this is the single most important differentiator for this role. Candidates who already hold a valid Red Pass will be fast-tracked to the top of the selection process and ranked with highest priority above all other candidates.
D/A (Airside Driving Authorization / AVOP): also a major asset. Candidates who hold a D/A will be ranked significantly higher in the selection process. Holding both a Red Pass and a D/A makes a candidate exceptionally competitive for this role.
Agence de Sécurité A2A Inc. is currently recruiting dependable, professional, and service-minded Security Officers for assignments in an airport-related environment in Montreal.
This role is well suited for individuals who can remain composed in busy public settings, communicate respectfully with different groups of people, and maintain a strong security presence while supporting a safe and orderly environment.
As part of our team, you may interact with passengers, employees, visitors, contractors, vendors, and airport-related personnel while representing a growing security company known for professionalism, responsiveness, and discretion.
Maintain a visible, professional, and reassuring presence at assigned security posts.
Control access to designated areas by verifying passes, authorizations, visitor access, contractor credentials, or other required documentation.
Monitor assigned locations such as entrances, exits, lobbies, service areas, restricted zones, checkpoints, parking areas, or other site-specific posts.
Support crowd management, line control, guest flow, and general safety procedures.
Identify and report suspicious behaviour, unsafe conditions, disturbances, unauthorized access attempts, and policy violations.
Assist client representatives, airport/site staff, supervisors, and management in maintaining order and enforcing site procedures.
Use strong communication and de-escalation skills when dealing with tense, disruptive, or sensitive situations.
Respond appropriately to incidents, alarms, medical situations, access-control issues, evacuations, or other operational concerns in accordance with post orders and site protocols.
Communicate with supervisors and team members by radio, phone, or other assigned communication tools.
Prepare clear, complete, and accurate daily activity reports or incident reports when required.
Valid BSP security guard licence is required.
Previous security experience is preferred, ideally 1 to 2 years or more.
Experience in airport, transportation, logistics, hospitality, corporate, residential, retail, or other high-traffic environments is considered a strong asset.
Strong communication skills and a professional customer-service approach.
Ability to stay calm, alert, and professional under pressure.
Reliable, punctual, discreet, and able to follow instructions carefully.
Professional appearance and strong attention to detail.
Comfortable standing, walking, and remaining active for extended periods.
Availability to work flexible shifts, including days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
Ability to follow post orders, client procedures, site rules, and supervisor direction.
Bilingual French and English communication skills are strongly preferred.
