Overview

We are seeking a caring and responsible Nanny/Babysitter to provide attentive childcare and support in a safe, nurturing environment. The ideal candidate will be passionate about working with children, capable of engaging them in educational and recreational activities, and skilled in caregiving tasks. This role offers an opportunity to make a positive impact on children's development while ensuring their safety and well-being.

Duties

Supervise and monitor children during daily activities, ensuring their safety at all times
Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks tailored to children's dietary needs
Assist with homework, teaching basic skills, and encouraging learning through play
Engage children in age-appropriate activities, including arts, crafts, games, and outdoor play
Perform light cleaning duties related to children’s areas, such as tidying up toys and maintaining a neat environment
Support children with special needs or disabilities by providing compassionate care and assistance as needed
Follow care routines, including nap times, hygiene practices, and medication administration if required
Communicate regularly with parents regarding children's progress, behavior, and any concerns

Experience

Prior experience working with children in a caregiving or babysitting capacity is preferred
Experience in meal preparation and cooking for children is advantageous
Familiarity with caregiving for individuals with disabilities is a plus
Background in teaching or educational activities can enhance the quality of care provided
Strong skills in cleaning and maintaining a tidy environment are beneficial
Compassionate attitude with excellent communication skills and patience are essential for success in this role

Pay: $18.00-$30.00 per hour
