Full job description

Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and organized Event Waitstaff Supervisor to oversee event operations and ensure exceptional guest experiences. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a background in hospitality, and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service.

Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate event staff, including servers, bartenders, and support team members
Oversee event setup, service execution, and breakdown activities
Ensure food and beverage service is delivered efficiently and professionally
Act as the main point of contact during events to address guest needs and resolve issues promptly
Assign duties, monitor staff performance, and ensure team members maintain service standards
Maintain cleanliness, organization, and compliance with health and safety regulations
Liaise with clients, vendors, and event personnel to ensure successful event operations
Troubleshoot and resolve operational concerns during events

Requirements

3-5 years of supervisory experience within hospitality, banquet, catering, or event environments
Previous experience leading event staff and managing event operations
Smart Serve Certification required
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Professional demeanor and strong customer service skills
Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends
Ability to stand for extended periods and assist with physical event duties as required

Pay: $25/hr.

Pay: $25.00 per hour

Experience:

Event Staff Supervisor : 3 years (required)
Hospitality: 3 years (required)
Event Serving : 3 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

Smart Serve (required)

Work Location: In person
