Full job description

We are hiring General Labour associates for our client based in Brampton, Ontario.

Pay Rate: $17.60 per hour, weekly pay, every Friday! (only SIN no Cash)

Shift: Afternoon Shift - Monday to Friday | 3:30 pm – 11:30 pm

Job responsibilities:

Unpacks products from cardboard boxes (e.g. chocolate, coffee, bar soap, laundry soap, shampoo, conditioner, deodorant, clothing, shoes etc.).
Performs hand assembly functions on an assembly line by unpacking and repacking products into boxes or displays.
Transport raw materials finished products and equipment throughout plant manually or using powered equipment.
Make boxes and displays, apply stickers/labels to the product as they move along conveyor belt.
May be required use a glue gun/stick to close/seal repackaged boxes.
May use a handheld heat gun to remove wrinkles from shrink wrapped product.
May be required to pack pallets with finished products.
As directed, cleans up work area at the end of the shift.
Other duties as required.

Education & Experience

High School Diploma or Equivalent
Basic understanding of reading, and writing, English.

Physical Requirements & Work Environment

Primarily works in a factory and/or warehouse setting
Lifting up to 50lbs on a regular basis
Standing for long periods of time
Stooping, walking, and lifting on a regular basis
CSA approved steel toe shoes
Must be able to pass Canadian criminal background check
