Event Logistics Support (Operations Runner) Role
We are currently hiring an Event Logistics Support (Operations Runner) role to support logistics, inventory movement, and food & beverage operations on-site at the RBC Canadian Open (golf tournament) in Alton, ON.
This role bridges warehouse coordination and on-site event execution, ensuring supplies, equipment, and inventory are delivered where they’re needed—quickly and efficiently.
This is a fast-paced, hands-on position suited for individuals who are organized, reliable, and comfortable performing physical work both indoors and outdoors.
Responsibilities
- Transport food, beverages, equipment, and event supplies between the main compound and various on-site locations
- Load, unload, and distribute inventory across event sites using carts, dollies, and golf carts
- Assist with staging, organizing, and maintaining warehouse and back-of-house areas
- Restock hospitality suites, kitchens, bars, and service stations
- Support event setup and teardown of operational spaces and equipment
- Respond to real-time operational requests from culinary and service teams
- Assist with basic inventory counts, stock organization, and FIFO rotation
- Follow all safety procedures when operating equipment and navigating busy event environments
Qualifications
- Previous experience in warehouse, logistics, events, or operations support preferred
- Comfortable lifting and moving items up to 50 lbs
- Ability to work extended hours on your feet
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work with minimal supervision
- Golf cart or equipment operation experience is an asset
- Forklift or similar certifications are a plus, but not required

Compensation & Schedule
- $20/hour
- Event-based schedule (Full availability required)

Pay: $20.00 per hour
