Full job description

The Sales Associate is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, driving sales, and supporting the overall success of the storefront. This role includes engaging with customers, providing expert product knowledge, conducting skin consultations, maintaining store cleanliness and visual merchandising standards, and assisting with daily operations to ensure a seamless and positive store experience.

This position involves working in a dynamic, fast-paced setting and includes mandatory weekend shifts.

As a leader in the skincare industry, we are committed to offering top-tier skincare products and outstanding service. The Sales Associate plays a vital role in creating a welcoming, customer-centered store experience.

Qualifications & Skills:

Strong communication and customer service skills
Ability to engage with customers and effectively recommend products
Knowledge of skincare products (experience in beauty or skincare retail is a plus)
Basic understanding of visual merchandising
Ability to maintain store cleanliness and organization
Sales experience with the ability to meet targets
Strong attention to detail and multitasking abilities
Ability to work as part of a team
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Availability to work weekends (mandatory)

Responsibilities:

Customer Service & Engagement

Greet and assist customers in a friendly, professional manner, providing personalized skincare recommendations
Conduct one-on-one skin consultations to assess customer needs and recommend tailored solutions
Resolve customer inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner
Foster a welcoming atmosphere that encourages engagement and repeat business
Contribute to maintaining a positive in-store environment that promotes customer satisfaction

Sales & Strategy

Meet or exceed sales goals through product knowledge and customer engagement
Actively promote ongoing sales, promotions, and new product launches
Use the CRM system to track customer interactions and follow-ups

Visual Merchandising & Store Presentation

Maintain a visually appealing and on-brand storefront, ensuring products are displayed according to company standards
Ensure shelves and displays are stocked and organized, following visual merchandising guidelines
Help with restocking shelves and product rotation to ensure fresh appealing displays

Team Collaboration & Support

Collaborate with team members to maintain store operations and meet sales goals
Assist with training new associates and share best practices for customer service and sales
Contribute to team meetings and sales discussions to improve store performance

Inventory Management

Assist in inventory counts and stock replenishment, ensuring accurate product availability
Help with receiving shipments and ensuring products are properly stored and accounted for

Education and Experience Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree is a plus)
Minimum 1 year of retail experience (experience in skincare or beauty retail is preferred)
Passion for skincare and beauty products, with a desire to learn about new products and trends
