Full job description

Express is currently looking for a Dock Worker for Our client in the South of Calgary. If you fit the listed requirements and are looking for a new opportunity, please apply within!

Duties:

Operate a counterbalance forklift, Pallet Jack, and RF Scanner
Load Outbound Trailers/ Unload Inbound Trailers
Load City Trailers in order and with proper freight counts
Unload City trailers and confirm freight counts, cube all freight and put in proper location
Follow directions given by dispatchers and management
Sweep the dock and empty garbage's each shift
Pre trip inspect equipment (ie forklift).

Requirements:

Must have VALID Counterbalance forklift ticket
LTL and Cross-Dock experience required
Able to work in a fast paced environment
Leadership or Supervisory experience is an asset
This location is not transit accessible, you must hold a valid Class 5 License and have a reliable mode of transportation
Must currently hold or obtain a Dangerous Goods certificate before start

Job Type: Full-time, ongoing.

Salary: $21.00-$22.00

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00-$22.00 per hour

Experience:

Cross-docking: 1 year (preferred)
Counterbalance Forklift: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

Class 5 Licence (preferred)
Forklift Licence (preferred)
