Service Plumber / HVAC Experience

Who we are looking for: We are looking for an experienced service technician for both plumbing, gasfitting and HVAC as a bonus. Having your cross connections is a plus. Experience is a must as you will be running and operating your own van and expected to efficiently complete all your calls in a day with minimal supervision. After your training period you will also have an opportunity to take our apprentices on the road to assist you on calls.

Job Description:
· Running own van primarily in Residential service for both Plumbing and Heat work.
· Light commercial
· Responsible for sales and completion of own jobs
· Boiler, Furnace, and Hot Water Tank install and service repairs
· Heating and gas work (running/repairing gas lines, furnaces, and fireplaces)
· Drain clearing
· Leak investigation and repair
· Repair/replacement of various plumbing fixtures
· Rough ins and finishing work on renos/builds
Responsibilities
· First and foremost, outstanding customer service is your #1 priority. Treating each client like they are family
· We provide the appointments you are responsible for assessing what work needs to be completed and sell the job
· Maintaining and service on your van
· Tracking materials used, hours worked, and payments collected
· Complete invoicing and payment after each job
· Report to office after each job
Qualifications
· Must have the ability for heavy lifting, as furnaces and HWTs are a large part of our business
· Min 3 years in service plumbing/heating industry
· Red Seal Plumbing ticket
· Class “B” gas ticket
· Experience in sales
· Experience in diagnostics
· Valid drivers license
· Ability to work with minimal supervision
· Common sense
· Willing to learn
· Desire to move up in the company
