Please note, this is a seasonal position with an anticipated end date of January 4th 2027.
What you will be doing:

Perform basic laboratory procedures including preparation of samples, reagents and calibration solutions.

Provide general lab support including washing glassware, cleaning work stations and waste disposal.

Operate instruments such as GC-FID and TCD, with guidance from senior staff performing maintenance, calibration and troubleshooting.
- Perform basic analysis.
- Report results.

Other duties as assigned.
What you bring to the table:
-
Post-secondary education with a Chemical degree/diploma or equivalent experience

Previous work lab experience is an asset, training will be provided
-
Experience in GC & general lab skills an asset

Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written
-
Attention to detail with good organizational skills

Basic computer skills
-
Team player with the ability to work in a positive manner in a fast paced environment
